Gav joined Narrow Aisle as Head of Business Operations in July 2023. Although he didn’t start in the Material Handling sector, his extensive experience in various senior roles brings a fresh perspective to the business. Before joining Narrow Aisle, he was the Head of Operations at Cogent Hire. Prior to that, Gav spent an impressive 16 years at Slater Gordon, excelling as the Head of Claims for their Motor Division.

Gav is a natural leader with a range of business skills. He excels in crafting clear vision and strategies while creating a collaborative environment and building high performing teams through coaching a mentoring his people. An advocate in utilising data analysis and implementing process efficiencies which all lead towards driving profitability and growth.

In his current role, Gav drives Narrow Aisles marketing strategy, leads the internal sales team, oversees HR and IT, and ensures the smooth operation of the service department. He plays a crucial role in aligning Narrow Aisle’s business goals, ensuring every team member focuses on the right objectives for our growth.

Outside of work, Gav enjoys spending time with his family, who are dedicated season ticket holders at Bolton Wanderers. In his free time, he actively engages in grassroots football, serving as a trusted committee member and coaching an enthusiastic U12’s team. Gav also takes charge of a large memorial football tournament with the support of some great volunteers, raising substantial funds for charities and good causes in his local community.
