Educated at school in Perth, and after graduating from Aberdeen University with a MA in Accounts Donald Houston is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Donald has held several senior directorship roles across multiple industries including Managing Director, Finance Director, Non-executive Director and part-time Chairman.

A former director of Linde Scotland and Linde East, Donald joined Flexi Narrow Aisle in May 2018 and in January 2019 was part of the management team that acquired a controlling interest in the company following Narrow Aisle’s founders, Peter Wooldridge and Cedric Randall, stepping back from their day-to-day executive roles.

Donald is a results-driven individual with a strong focus on helping individuals to develop and grow, teamwork, improving procedures and processes, product development and improvement. Donald brings a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for people and products.

As Managing Director, Donald oversees all aspects of our business, from product development to delivery. He takes pride in the group’s commitment to its employees and to maintaining a positive and collaborative work culture across the business. He is instrumental in driving the Group’s growth and ensuring that they continue to provide the consistently excellent build quality offer over the range of articulated truck-based intralogistics solutions required to meet the high standards demanded by their extensive and growing customer base.

When not at work Donald likes to spend as much quality time with close family and friends. Blessed with four lovely children and six grandchildren. Donald has interest in most sports and is a passionate supporter of the local football team to where he was born, namely St Johnstone FC.
