UK Distributor Sales Supervisor

Reporting to: Sales Operations Manager

Overall Purpose & Objectives of Job

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced graduate calibre person with minimum 5-year sales and marketing office experience to help lead the UK team of a specialist forklift truck manufacturing company based in Great Bridge, Tipton.

The role will allow the successful candidate to develop an exciting career in a growing and buoyant intralogistics sector of industry. Providing coordination and sales office administration to the company’s operation, support the UK business development team and interface with the company’s global supply chain.

Scope and Main Duties of Job / Work Performed

Handling of customer and distributor incoming calls, emails, and website input, helping to develop customers' product requirements and projects efficiently and professionally. To develop and maintain a strong relationship with existing customers and authorised distributors. Leading the communication between customers and the production, service, and spare parts colleagues across the business.

  • Attending regular production and contract meetings.
  • Planning and forecasting distributor and end user order book and production capacity.
  • Supporting our team of field-based Business Developments Managers.
  • Responding to queries with the support of internal sales, engineering, and production teams.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service to new and existing clients.
  • Raising technical production sales files. Acknowledging orders received.
  • Make up of new truck order files to convert customer requirements to finished product.
  • Liaising with Finance House/customer regarding Contract Hire/Lease agreements.
  • Make up customer new truck delivery packs to ensure compliant to market quality requirements.
  • Create and issue of all new truck delivery notes and ensure payment terms in readiness of despatch.
  • Take stock and order of stationery in relation to new truck delivery packs.
  • Creating new equipment and updating customer database on Protean service management system.

About you:

  • Excellent communication, teams, and organisational skills.
  • Professional level of IT fluency (Microsoft Office).
  • Experience of data administration and recording.
  • Ambitions and resourceful individual who wants to build a career in a global growth industry sector.
